Just giving fair warning that I am going to do a bit more stream of consciousness blogging here for a while. I am realizing that one of the worries that is holding me back from blogging more is that I like to put together essayish posts that I sit on for days and edit and revise. But I am working on a new book project and a TEDx talk and a TEDx-like talk for a trip to Italy and revisions to the lectures in my modern world civilizations class. Trying to be super polished here means I am not ever going to hit the “publish” button.

So for a time, I am going to spend more time “thinking out loud” on this blog.
